Applying to the Summer Science Program is free. Before you begin, read through the pages under the Explore tab on the website. Check that you meet the prerequisites, and decide whether you would rather do research in Astrophysics, Biochemistry, Genomics, or Synthetic Chemistry. You may only apply to one.
Deadline for international applicants to Summer Science Program.
Deadline for domestic applicants to Summer Science Program.
All parts of the application can be completed online, but if necessary to send materials, the deadline for receipt of all required application parts is by 11:59 pm Pacific time on the application deadline.
Admissions decisions are expected to be made in mid-March for international applicants and mid-April for domestic applicants. Decisions will be emailed and posted on the Decision page of your application portal.
All applicants who are admitted will have the opportunity to apply for financial aid before enrolling. Instructions for the financial aid application will be sent with the admissions decisions.
